New Teas

I ordered several samples from Jing Tea Shop, so expect
reviews of the following:

-Wuyi Da Hong Pao
-2003 Anxi Aged Tie Guan Yin
-Anxi Rou Gui
-Qi Lan

I am quite looking forward to the Tie Guan Yin.
Anxi oolongs are a favorite of mine.

Any recommendations of Anxi oolongs that I should
look into..?

  1. It's presumably a blend of several non-Tie Guan Yin Anxi oolongs...on the greener side, incredibly inexpensive...I absolutely love Upton Tea's Se Chung. I tend to like Se Chung teas in general, and they tend to be very affordable relative to how complex they are, and Upton's is the best I've tried.

I have yet to try anything from Jing tea shop, but I've heard good things about them and am looking forward to trying some of their stuff soon. =)

  2. Alex,

The only tea I have tried from Upton was their Dragonwell, and that was in a college dorm room in indiana!
I suppose I better have a solid introduction to Upton, and this tea may just be the gateway! Once I am financially able, I will definitely be making a purchase!
    Thank you for the recommendation!
