I ordered several samples from Jing Tea Shop, so expect
reviews of the following:
-Wuyi Da Hong Pao
-2003 Anxi Aged Tie Guan Yin
-Anxi Rou Gui
-Qi Lan
I am quite looking forward to the Tie Guan Yin.
Anxi oolongs are a favorite of mine.
Any recommendations of Anxi oolongs that I should
look into..?

It's presumably a blend of several non-Tie Guan Yin Anxi oolongs...on the greener side, incredibly inexpensive...I absolutely love Upton Tea's Se Chung. I tend to like Se Chung teas in general, and they tend to be very affordable relative to how complex they are, and Upton's is the best I've tried.
ReplyDeleteI have yet to try anything from Jing tea shop, but I've heard good things about them and am looking forward to trying some of their stuff soon. =)
Alex,
ReplyDeleteThe only tea I have tried from Upton was their Dragonwell, and that was in a college dorm room in indiana!
I suppose I better have a solid introduction to Upton, and this tea may just be the gateway! Once I am financially able, I will definitely be making a purchase!
Thank you for the recommendation!
I love your photos and the whole layout here. Really pleasing to the eye.
